| Proper ventilation is always an issue, especially in rental properties including motels and hotels. When the exhaust fan is on a separate switch, more times than not it is not being used. Even if the fan is turned on, it is usually turned off as soon as the shower is exited and does not run for the recommended 20 minute after the shower is turned off. |

| The model AKEDT2 solves the problem. The AKEDT2 turns the fan and light on simultaneously while offering an electronic, automatic delay timer that allows the user to turn the light off while the fan contiues to operate for an additional 20, 40, or 60 minutes before automatically turning off. From an owners perspective, you can rest easy with the knowledge that if the light is turned on, the fan will be operating for at least the recommend time and properly ventilating the room. |

| The Technical Stuff You'll Be Asked |
| The AKEDT2 is a two button electronic delay switch. The top button controls the on/off function of the switch and when selected, turns both the fan and the light on. When selected again, the switch will turn off the light and the fan will continue to run for the selected amount of time. The bottom button controls the length of time the fan will run after the light has been turned off. There are three preset times of 20 minutes, 40 mintues and 60 minutes. To select a higher or lower time, the user presses this button until the desired time is choosen. |

| LED lights illuminate to indicate that the fan and light are on and for what amount of time the fan will operate after the light is turned off. A single light under the 20, indicated the fan will operate for 20 minutes. A single light above the 40 indicates the fan will operate for 40 minutes. If both the 20 and 40 are illumintaed, the fan will operate for 60 minutes. |

| The AKEDT2 works great with fan light combinations or with an exhaust fan and another room light and can handle a load of up to 500 watts. The switch does not include the wall plate. |
