CENTRAL VACUUM SYSTEMS |
.
The Sales Pitch
Central Vacuums have been around for awhile, but it has only been recently that the popularity or more to the point, the knowledge of the benefits have become more well known. Central Vacuums are a time tested product that the average person probably has at least heard of.
.
Central Vacuums give you, the builder the opportunity to differentiate your homes from others. Adding a Central Vacuum option to the upgrades lists is a win for everyone. You are able to add services to the construction, and the home owner is able to add value and function to the home.
.
Why Would I or My Clients Want a Central Vacuum?
Central Vacuums provide unmatched cleaning power, efficiency, and value to the home. Think about it, when looking at homes, have you ever seen a traditional upright vacuum as part of the features of the home? Conversely, you WILL see a central vacuum system as a feature of the home. Upgraded features translates into higher sale/resale value.
.
HEALTH - With an Air King Central Vacuum System, all of the particles vacuumed up are expelled out of the room and trapped by the filter of the power unit or exhausted out of the home. With a traditional upright vacuum, particles will re circulate into the same rom you are vacuuming.
.
QUIET - It only makes sense. The power unit is located away from the living area in the garage or the basement, not in the room you are vacuuming. You can now hear the phone ring, the stereo or even have a conversations without screaming a the top of your lungs.
.
POWER - Don't we all want a more power. An Air King Central Vacuum System is up to 5 times more powerful than conventional uprights or canister vacuums. More power translates into more effective and less time consuming cleaning.
.
What About the Installation?
NEW HOMES - it doesn't get any easier. The power unit is connected to inlets located throughout the home via thin walled 2" PVC piping (this is not the same as plumbing PVC). During construction, when the walls are exposed, running the pvc is as easy if not easier than running any of the other utilities such as plumbing, electrical, or ducting.
.
EXISTING HOMES - While it certainly will be more challenging than in new constructions, it can be done. With a little planning and a little knowledge of the house, almost any existing home can have a Central Vacuum System added. It is actually a very good DIY project.
