Air King’s MFAS fresh air supply unit offers home builders and developers a cost effective mechanical fresh air solution. Contractors and builders now have a practical offering for introducing constant fresh air from outside into the residence, meeting the ASHRAE 62.2 fresh air CFM requirements. The operator simply dials in the quantity (CFM) of fresh air needed from the fan’s control panel. The unit includes a mesh filter to capture larger debris such as bugs and leaves while an option air filter (up to a MERV16) can be added to enhance the air quality of the home (air filters sold separately). The MFAS works independent of the HVAC system and it’s compact size allows it to be mounted in basements, attics, closets, laundry rooms and more. The 6 inch duct connections allow for longer duct runs and the unit is perfect for single family or multi-family projects. The MFAS has 2 HVI Certified CFM settings of 50 or 80 CFM and is ETL listed.
